Description

I have heard of the genre of military fiction and I am not a fan but this memoir is so lovable, fun yet being elegant and evocative that it has been a pleasure to read.

He always thought of his team 1st and the entire book is filled with incidents where young Jawaans being mentored by COs and the camaraderie that pervades in the Indian Army. In this book, 'Tiny' Dhillon opens a hitherto-closed window, not only to his life but also to Kashmir. This book is a decent autobiography which like all autobiographies talks about the author's life at great lengths. After Dhillon is commissioned into the Indian Army as Second Lieutenant, he is subsequently posted to the 4th Battalion of Rajputana Rifles, then stationed in Sikkim. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, every word of every excerpt of every chapter and I am now looking forward to reading more on this subject. The book touches on events like the attack at Pulwama which we all know shook us heavily where 40 CRPF personnel were killed, the abrogation of Article 370, and many such half-truths and the veils sort of things that made the events look different or we don’t know them completely From professional sphere we will be taken to the personal spheres too in the life of tiny Dhillon and this greatest journey if his which will for sure remain as the biggest example for everyone out there. Apart from the difficult times in a soldier’s life, there are also occasions of celebrations and cheerful plays and events that are shared in the book.

In this book, ‘Tiny’ Dhillon opens a hitherto-closed window, not only to his life but also to Kashmir. The author has shared his personal life stories right from his childhood as well as accounts of several events during his training at the NDA and during his service days.

And according to the residents of the Japanese island of Okinawa - the world's longest-living people - finding it is the key to a longer and more fulfilled life. The audiobook reflects Rhonda’s own journey and shares the most direct way out for those experiencing hardship and the path to end pain and suffering endured by so many, and it shines a light on a future without anxiety or fear.It will provide insight into his trials and tribulations and inspire a broad spectrum of readers, especially young defense aspirants and leaders in the armed forces. As RR Sector Commander, Dhillon was responsible for carrying out counter-insurgency operations in Rajwar and Haphruda forest, the densest forests in North Kashmir. Really loved this quote "An Indian who was always taught to walk tall and fight hard for his motherland. A soldier esp the tall towering sturdy one whose eyes will instill fear in anyone can be a good story teller too.
